Stefanie graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA (Hons) in Ancient Greek and from the University of Edinburgh with an MSc in Classics. After completing her PGCE at the University of Buckingham, she began teaching GCSE and A Level in the independent sector in the UK. Before joining Durham International School in August 2025, Stefanie was the Assistant Head for Pastoral Care, Wellbeing, and Boarding, as well as Head of Classics, at a leading independent school in Surrey. Throughout her career, she held both pastoral and academic leadership roles and also served as a Governor at a co-educational primary school in Surrey. She has always been dedicated to empowering young people to achieve their full potential and make a positive mark on the world through high-quality education and pastoral care.
