Sue, a passionate educator and leader with a deep understanding of Early Years and Primary Education, is the Founding Headteacher of Durham Kenya. In addition to a Masters degree in Inclusive Education from Middlesex University, Sue holds a PGCE from the University of Sunderland and a postgraduate diploma in Special Education Needs from the University of York . Sue has worked as a teacher, Department Head and Headteacher in British International Schools in Zambia, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kenya and in the UK she has held leadership positions at Millfield School in Somerset, and Feltonfleet School in Surrey. Sue has worked at premium schools in Nairobi for the last 13 years and brings a tremendous understanding of primary education and the needs and expectations of families in Nairobi.
